Programmer Analyst

Skills/Experience
*Ability to review multiple systems and to recommend their optimum interfacing
against relational databases by consolidating online and batch processes.
*Ability to review and rewrite Java and XML based application code and services
for use by multiple systems against multiple Oracle databases.
*Strong knowledge of ANSI SQL and experience in writing complex SQL
*Report development using open source or proprietary tools.
*SQL Query optimization and tuning
*Must have strong communication skills to interact with staff, users and
management as well as having the ability to be a technical driving force within
the development group.
*Must have strong organizational, planning and documentation skills. *This
position will need to possess an in-depth understanding of technical design and
be capable of serving as a technical quality assurance programmer/consultant.
*Working and developing applications on the J2EE application development
platform for enterprise class projects
*ETL using either open sources or proprietary ETL tools
*Coordinate creation, documentation, and adherence to technical standards of
architecture, design and implementation technical specification documents for
the J2EE based solution
*Database modeling, design and management skills including developing data
access web services using SOA/ESB concepts.
*Creating and implementing a web based application architecture utilizing Java
Web Servers like- Apache Tomcat and application servers like- BEA WebLogic, IBM
WebSphere or JBOSS Oracle databases in a clustered environment, and custom
developed applications.
*Involvement in the design of the N-Tier Architecture using J2EE *Framework
(Servlets, JSP, EJB, JSTL), Spring Framework, Apache Struts Framework and
Hibernate (ORM Tool).
*Knowledge of Software Development Lice Cycle and experience in implementing
quality management (ISO and IEEE) and process improvement principles and
practices

Preference:
Extensive experience with JAXP (SAX and DOM parsers), JAXB (Castor and
XMLBeans), XSL, XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSLT, WSDL and web services (AXIS, XFire and
Spring web service).
*Bachelors degree with computer science or engineering background from a
four-year college or technical school preferred.
*Database modeling, physical design, implementation
*Experience with applications testing and know-how of testing tools such as
QuickTest Pro, Quality Center and LoadRunner preferred.
