IT Project Manager

-Skills/Experience:

*A minimum of 5 years work experience managing application development & multiple technology projects using a software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology and project management best practices (on time, within budget).
*Background in leading technology change initiatives to align IT systems and operations with business objectives.

*A strong background in using project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.

*Proven track record of managing projects with different delivery methods (Agile/WP/Waterfall).

*A solid understanding of the touch points to contemporary portfolio management methods.

*This position also requires prior functional management experience, and an ability to lead a team of resources in an IT environment.

-The ideal candidate will also have technology experience in some of the following:

*Business Intelligence tools, preferably COGNOS
*Datawarehousing
*ETL Tools
*Analytics
*Relational Database Concepts

-Additional Skills:

*Organizational Development skills.
*Demonstrated ability to coach individuals and interface with senior staff/management.
*Conflict resolution and conflict mediation skills.
*Ability to identify and plan IT programs and deliver on the anticipated promise to the business.

-Education Requirements:

*Bachelors' degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
*PMP Certificate or equivalent highly desired.
