Job Description


Responsibilities: Provide systems engineering leadership to new and ongoing programs within Space and Airborne Systems business unit. Specific duties may include: development/management of system requirements, management/execution of trade studies, interface definition/management, design integration, verification/test planning, and integration. Must be able to work in all phases of the product life cycle. Special emphasis on leading proposal and new program start-up activities.

Positions at U.S. locations may require citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.



The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
Engineering experience in one or more of the following disciplines: systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied mathematics. Demonstrated ability to work lead an integrated product team. Strong communications skills: written and oral. Strong problem solving ability. Must have current SSBI.


Desired Skills:
Experience in space/airborne sensor payload systems engineering activities including one or more of the following: requirements management, verification planning, system performance analysis, mission analysis, algorithm development, interface management,integration, test. Experience in proposal development for Government systems. Experience with space sensor payloads, airborne sensor payloads, or solid state laser systems.


Typical Experience: 10-12 years

Degree: B.S.
