Job Description


Responsibilities: GNC System Design Engineering Fellow exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness. The Engineering Fellow applies and/or develops highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts and is viewed within the company as a GNC expert. The Engineering Fellow acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs. Plans R&D programs and recommends technological application programs to accomplish long-range objectives. The GNC System Design Engineering Fellow will support design, research and development efforts for missile system applications resulting in new product/business opportunities for the company. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would have a long-term negative effect on the organization's reputation and business posture. The Engineering Fellow may serve as a consultant to the top corporate and business segment management in long-range company planning, concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. The Engineering Fellow is the prime spokesperson on the company’s technical capabilities and future directions and is often instrumental in attracting and obtaining major new company business.

The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
Proven GNC design and analysis experience spanning conceptual design through detailed design and system integration of precision strike, air-to-air, anti-armor, air defense or strategic missile defense systems. Expertise in guidance filter design, trajectory shaping, system performance optimization and weapon effectiveness. Applicants should be adept with Kalman filtering, control systems, system optimization, dynamics, mathematical modeling, system simulation and system requirements analysis.


Desired Skills:
A recognized leader in tactical missile GNC design with supporting publications in scientific journals.
