Job Description


Responsibilities: Team Lead for Electro-Optical algorithm development. Manage a team of algorithm and software engineers in the development, implementation, and test of target detection, tracking, and classification algorithms. Duties include representation of team's interests at Software change control board meetings, prioritization of team assignments consistent with Software IPT delivery schedules, support of hardware/software integration testing in the factory. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications. Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational unit. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.

The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
A background in target detection, tracking, and classification algorithm development and implementation. C programming in a UNIX environment.


Desired Skills:
Design of experiments. Matlab programming.


Typical Experience: 8-10 years

Degree: B.S.
