Job Description


Responsibilities: Will either lead or be a key member on vehicle airframe subsystem development team. Responsible for leading integrated product design team including cost and schedule budgets. Manage materials selection trade studies and coordinate with other disciplines including structural mechanics, thermal, materials and manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will possess


Required Skills:
Must have experience in aircraft / airframe design or missile system development. Must have 8+ years experience with materials and manufacturing processes for high speed or long endurance aircraft or missiles. Must have experience in the development of missile systems and subsystems configuration items. Must have proposal development experience and have established recognition with manufacturers. Knowledge of Earned Value Management System is required. Must be familiar with Pro/E CAD modeling and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Must be able to travel to customers and suppliers.


Desired Skills:
Ability to work long hours on occasion. Excellent written and oral communications skills strongly desired. Secret clearance with SSBI is desired.
