Job Description


Responsibilities: Responsible for Performance Excellence Activities on Naval Programs. Develop and employ business strategies to assure customer satisfaction and continuous product and process improvements. Integrate quality tools and modules into the program to assure effective process measurement and control. Interface with internal and external customers on quality issues and requirements. Manage the implementation and compliance to ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI, Six Sigma principles, Quality metrics, and IPDS processes for the IPT. Required participation in design reviews, startup reviews, and performance of process and product assessments, audits and evaluations. Oversight and activities will include hardware, software, operations and supplier quality activities. Overall Program Quality responsibilities for the programs supported.

Required Skills:
Participate on cross-functional teams with working knowledge of business, manufacturing and engineering processes. Ability to mentor all functions and disciplines on the application of quality models to their processes.


Desired Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with internal and external customers and all management levels.


Typical Experience: 6-8 years

Degree: B.S.
